Our Food Celebrations

Immerse yourself in Galway’s vibrant food culture, and indulge in the regions culinary treasures during our two month-long food festivals, ‘Blas na Bealtaine’ & ‘Blas na Samhna’ (held in May & November).  During our festivals, some of the very best restaurants and hotels in Galway curate a series of unique experiences, such as pop-up events, oyster tastings, seafood trails, foraging expeditions, beer masterclasses and wine or juice pairing sessions, traditional smoking techniques, the craft of distilling, and the incredible art of cheese-making.
