‘Blas na Bealtaine’ & ‘Blas na Samhna’ are two month-long food and drink festivals (May & November) that celebrate Galway’s vibrant foodie scene.
There will be something for everyone, from food enthusiasts to all the family. Expect anything and everything from amazing meals, pop-ups, oyster tastings, farm visits, cheese-making demonstrations, seafood trails, distillery visits, foraging, beer masterclasses, coffee cupping, and wine pairings…

Mille Culure
A pop up dinner from two chef friends that are hoping to showcase the flavour of their native land. 5 course tasting menu.
Tasting menu (two sittings) focusing on the Campania region of Italy. Will include a wine pairing option. Venue Aniar Restaurant.
Italian cuisine is fiercly regional, not just north to south or city to city but village to village. We want to showcase that regionality with a series of pop ups from two Italian chefs that understand those nuances deeply.
Starting with Campania, as we are from that region, we want to show you something different yet familiar using outstanding Irish produce to give a unique take on our food.
We will also be using Wild Farmed regenerative flour in our pasta as well as pastry and bread dishes.

Join us for our ‘create a capsule wardrobe event’, where Lisa Regan will choose staple pieces to take your wardrobe from Autumn to Winter from local sustainable fashion stores Kindf_olk, Aplomb, O’ Máille and Public Romance. Sharing with you all her tips and tricks on combining the staples with items you already have in your wardrobe to create comfortable chic outfits, while embracing your own style!
Of course, a beautiful outfit deserves a delicious glass of wine…we will finish the evening out showcasing some of the finest low intervention wines. Gosia from ‘Side Hustle’ will talk about her recent travels to Mosel and advise how to pick the perfect wines for the upcoming festive season!
We will be serving a nice glass of Pet Nat from Wild Wines or Kombucha from All about Kombucha, Sheridan’s Cheese platters and Delicious Treats from Lán Kitchen.
Join us for an evening of wine tasting and a discussion led by three Irish-based winemakers: Liam & Sinead Cabot of Cabot & Co, Simon Tyrrell of Tyrrell Wines, and Rafa Salazar of Vinostitos.
Guests will enjoy a wine flight featuring six different wines from these winemakers followed by a talk and discussion where the winemakers will share their journey and experiences, explaining how they transitioned from being wine merchants to becoming wine producers.
This wine-tasting event promises to be an informative and enjoyable evening for anyone interested in wine, the art of winemaking, and the personal experiences of these accomplished wine producers.
