Special Feijoada Weekend

Walk-ins are welcome and reservations can be done on our website: request-a-reservation

On the first weekend of every month we have our special feijoada happening in our restaurant. It is one of our favourite events, where we can remember where we have come from - transforming the atmosphere with our food and our music.

Feijoada is a traditional dish from Brazil and it consists of a slow cooked pork and black beans stew. Served with rice, vinaigrette, cassava flour, cabbage and pork cracklings. For this event, alongside with our usual menu, we have a special feijoada menu where you can taste this traditional dish with other bites.

Pop-Up Oyster Bar at Aniar

Aniar celebrates Blas na Bealtaine & Oysters from the west coast of Ireland with a pop-up oyster bar.

Expect an array of Irish oysters, delicately accompanied by wild, foraged, and preserved garnishes. As a result of the abundant plankton the west coast provides ideal oyster growing conditions.

Join us on May 5th to relax with a plate of wonderfully meaty, salty, yet sweet molluscs paired with a glass of natural wine, beer, cider or fresh juice.

Walk in only: 3pm-8pm

‘Fíon Focus’ at Daróg Wine Bar  🥂

Our monthly Fíon Focus is a delightful exploration into the world of wines.

"Fíon", the Irish word for wine, sets the stage for our mission to shine a unique spotlight on diverse grape varieties and talented winemakers every month. This initiative is designed to celebrate the rich tapestry of flavours and aromas that the world of wine has to offer.

At Daróg, we are passionate advocates for Riesling, and to honour this esteemed grape, we've dedicated the entire month of May to celebrating it, coinciding with Blas na Bealtaine in collaboration with Blas Na Gaillimhe (A Taste of Galway).

Riesling is a versatile grape known for its aromatic profile, ranging from floral to citrus notes. With a unique ability to express the terroir, Riesling produces wines that can span the spectrum from bone-dry to lusciously sweet, offering a delightful and diverse tasting experience.

✨ WINE FLIGHT: Explore the essence of Riesling with our specially curated Wine Flight, featuring 4 exquisite wines (90ml each) for €35. This exclusive flight is available only while stocks last.

✨ BY THE GLASS: A selection of Rieslings will also be available by the glass throughout the month. Keep an eye on our blackboard for all the delightful details!

Fíon Focus is available in Daróg throughout the month of May. Tuesday - Thursday: 5pm - 11pm. Friday to Sunday: 3pm - 11pm.
