Based in the village of Ahascragh in east County Galway, Ahascragh Distillery is a family-owned producer of premium Irish whiskey and gin with sustainability at its heart.
Founded by Gareth and Michelle McAllister, the distillery is home to an award-winning family of spirits, including Clan Colla Irish Whiskey and Xin Gin. Each brand has its own distinctive character, united by a commitment to quality, craftsmanship and creating spirits that bring people together.
Housed in a lovingly restored nineteenth-century mill, Ahascragh is Ireland’s first zero-energy-emissions whiskey and gin distillery. Renewable energy, innovative heat-recovery technology and energy-efficient production methods are helping to shape a more sustainable future for Irish distilling.
