Tours include full days exploring Ireland’s food and farming and a half day walking food tour of Clifden. Margaret also offers Wild Walks, sharing her extensive knowledge of Ireland’s native wild and edible plants. Meet the farmers and fishers, cheese makers, growers, bakers and hear their stories. Dine in cafes and restaurants with chefs who create dishes highlighting wonderful local produce.
Owner, organic farmer and guide, Margaret, will share her love of our natural landscapes and the role sustainable farming plays in protecting Ireland’s environment. She will share with you the history of Irish agriculture, our food culture, our native flora and fauna and the unique geology of some of Ireland’s UNESCO Global GeoParks.
Private bespoke full or half day, small group, tours are curated to meet the needs of your group. If you are looking for a unique experience with your friends and family or for corporate clients, get in touch and she will create a tour that will leave them not only full of tasty local food but also full of admiration for small scale farmers and food producers. Come hungry and full of curiosity as we take to the fields and shores of Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way.
