Pedro Ledesma’s place on High Street is a real Taste of the Med in Tuam.
La Vissuta means literally “enjoy” and that is certainly what you will do when you eat and drink there.
From bruschetta, pizza and pasta to salads, fish and steaks, the ingredients are Irish and local where possible. The fish is from Glancy’s and Gerry Mullins is the butcher who supplies the striploin steaks.
There are Moretti and Heineken beers on draft, house cocktails and an excellent wine list as well as crowd-pleasing desserts like tiramisu and panna cotta made in house.
Perfect for gatherings, this spacious restaurant has big enough tables to fit families and group parties.
Listed in Georgina Campbell’s Ireland Guide and a member of the Restaurants Association of Ireland.
Winner of Yes Chef Awards 2023 Best Italian in Connaught.
