The Lán Kitchen is a small, owner-run wholesale bakery based in Monivea, Galway. Founded by Arlene, it specialises in handmade, pastry chef–level desserts. It was created to support cafés and restaurants without their own in-house pastry chefs.

With nearly two decades of experience in professional kitchens, Arlene brings classical pastry technique together with bold, well-balanced flavours. The focus is on consistency, quality, and creating products that feel both reliable in busy kitchens and enjoyable to eat.
Alongside its wholesale offering, The Lán Kitchen opens to the public every Saturday morning in Monivea, where locals can drop by for a rotating selection of fresh bakes. It has built a loyal following across Galway through a warm, straightforward approach and strong relationships with its customers.
The Lán Kitchen was awarded Gold and Best in County at Blas na hÉireann in 2023, followed by Gold awards in 2024 and 2025, recognising its continued commitment to quality and flavour.
